Emily and Ethan are the young couple behind Phoibos, a rapidly up and coming newer microbrand that was founded in 2016. After cutting their teeth with some extremely good value homage dive watches, where they built a reputation for providing nicely designed timepieces with reliable movements and sapphire glass etc., at budget pricing, Phoibos have since found their stride by coming up with their own more unique line of dive watches, while still maintaining the hallmark of their brand, which is based squarely on providing stylish, reliable watches that are simply amazing value for the money spent.
Our store's owner is in particular a huge fan of one of their project watches that was slowly refined over a year or so to become Phoibos' Wave Master series. The stylish Wave Master offers a long list of highly desirable features in a diver, such as the ultra-reliable NH35A movement, sapphire glass, ceramic bezels, two color Swiss lume, a 300 meter water rating, excellent unidirectional bezel, guilloche wave-pattern on sunburst dials, and a solid link bracelet with screwed pins, all at a fraction of the price you'd typically expect to pay elsewhere for this type of combination.
Ethan and Emily seem to have upped the pace recently, so we look forward to seeing future projects from this team.
