Albert Villa Timepieces

Albert Villa Timepieces is a Romanian watch microbrand (and the only one we know of from Romania) run by Marian Mirea, who is also a renowned watch strap maker. Marian makes all of the watch straps for Albert Villa Timepieces himself by hand. We think Albert Villa Timepieces are extraordinary modern-day homages to the 1920s and the Art Deco style, and just love the personal touch you get by the hands-on approach from the creator behind this microbrand.

The brand produces a range of dress watches that is reminiscent of Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso aesthetic, but with Albert Villa's own unique touch throughout. Here we have modern day sizing with a dazzling choice of some rich sunburst fume dials, including an uncommon yellow sunburst, or some black enamel and hammered gold colored designs, one showcasing an intricate Art Deco motif, and the other a small seconds sub-dial with a Swiss ETA (Peseux) 7001 movement.

All of the Albert Villa watches that we list are limited editions of 100 or fewer timepieces, and have a limited edition serial number engraved on the back, making them highly collectible.
