The Spinnaker Croft is an attractive, vintage-themed 43mm diver, named after Robert Croft, a U.S. Navy diving instructor who was the first person to free-dive to a depth of over 200 feet.
Common to some of the other vintage-themed divers from Spinnaker, the dial features a heavily-textured watch face, which adds a lot of interest. Spinnaker have also applied a vintage fumé effect, with the dial colors slowly graduating from a darker outer rim to a lighter center, and further interest is added by the small seconds sub-dial, with a snailed guilloché pattern, and a vintage round cyclops window for the date. Lots to see when you take a closer look.
Good looks aside, this is also a very robust 150 meter diver with sapphire glass and the ultra-reliable Miyota 8 movement. The combination of all of the design features on the dial and robustness make this an extremely good value in our opinion.
