Second Hour Watches

Second Hour Watches is an Australian microbrand, founded in 2019 by Peter Sargison and his wife, Akira. The Second Hour name is a reference to Peter's mid-life career change, from working as a technology consultant to that of a watchmaker, something he is very passionate about. Peter tells us that the name is also a playful combination of two related units of time measurements, the second and the hour.

We're a huge fan of Second Hour Watches here at The Microbrand Store, and have personally backed this microbrand on Kickstarter, when the Second Hour Mandala sports dress watch with it's stunning guilloché patterned dial was first launched. As an authorized dealer for Second Hour Watches, it's very exciting for us to be able to carry the Second Hour Mandala line, as well as other great designs from this leading microbrand, such as the Second Hour Sattelberg pilot watch series, with an outstanding full reverse lume option. All of our Second Hour watches include DLC hardening for better scratch resistance.
